I’m Eliel Jaimes, a Los Angeles-based video editor, producer, and storyteller with a passion for transforming ideas into visual narratives that resonate with audiences and help drive sales and growth. With over 10 years of experience working in the technology and broadcast news space, .
Currently, I video work for Laserfiche, where I help craft videos to support the sales, marketing and communications efforts of the company. Projects include product explainer videos, customer testimonials, event marketing videos, careers videos, company announcements and more.
I’m responsible for shaping features, interviews, and short-form content designed for both traditional and social-digital platforms. I pride myself on marrying technical skills — editing, sound design, motion graphics, color — with big-picture storytelling: finding the emotion or hook in each scene.
Earlier in my career, I worked in digital journalism; shooting interviews and editing news stories. I've shot and edited weddings, manned broadcast cameras for NCAA Baseball and directing live broadcast news for an NBC local news affiliate. I’ve worked both on location and in studio, collaborating closely with directors, writers, photographers, and creative teams to ensure authentic and quality content production..
My work is rooted in curiosity, meticulousness, and collaboration. Whether it’s tight deadlines, unpredictable shooting situations, or evolving brands and storylines, I approach every challenge as an opportunity to learn and grow.
When I’m not editing, I enjoy traveling, playing classical guitar, cycling and making wood-fired Neapolitan pizza.
